Shambly was handmade by James Osguthorpe for his much loved wife to sell her beautiful handcrafted stain glass items. Since then, Shambly has become a place for all craftsmen to sell their handmade items to customers all across the UK.
The name Shambly derives from the beautiful medieval street in York called the Shambles, where James and his wife live. The Shambles in York is a well know street where craftsmen and tradesmen did business during the medeval period and is still a popular and world recognised street today – most famous for the Harry Potter shops and independent craftsmen shops.
